Some Costs of Growth and What’s to Optimize

Selfishly, just as anyone would, I wish for all my own desires to be met, but of course that’s not to be. In this writing I shan’t try to catalog all of the beneficial things that can stand optimizing, but they include library books per capita, miles of traffic lanes per capita, reserve of water’s acre-feet per capita, electric kilowatts per capita, theater seats per capita. Add more capitas, there’s less per capita.

Comments I have received indicate that others fully appreciate the rural surround that embraces Longmont as we are. Council will undoubtedly hear in forums held on the land-leech issue that Longmonters really like the rural environment immediately at hand.
